Jonathan Reynolds is the Shadow Secretary of State for Work and Pensions. He began working with the Labour Party in 2003 when he was elected to represent young members on the National Executive Committee. Jonathan was a local councillor on Tameside Council before being elected as the Labour and Co-Operative Member of Parliament for Stalybridge and Hyde in 2010. He has since served as Shadow Economic Secretary to the Treasury, Shadow Minister for Energy and Climate Change, Shadow Minister for Transport and as Parliamentary Private Secretary to Ed Miliband before entering the Shadow Cabinet in his new role.
