John is a partner at Fieldfisher LLP.  He leads the firm's Brexit Taskforce and Heads the Regulatory Group.  He specialises in competition and regulatory matters, advising on all aspects of the UK and EU regimes including cartel and regulatory investigations, antitrust litigation, restrictive agreements, dominance issues, alliances, and structural changes such as mergers and acquisitions.  He also works with clients on international trade matters. His advice is practical and commercial, focusing on assessing and mitigating real risks.

John has particular expertise in regulated sectors, including life sciences, food/beverage, transport and financial/professional services.

John has a First Class Honours Degree in Law from the University of Glasgow (Scotland) and a Masters in Law and Economics (Distinction) from the University of Rotterdam (The Netherlands).
