Darren Jones MP
Darren Jones MP, Chair of the Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Select CommitteeDarren Jones is Chair of the House of Commons Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Committee, and has served as the Labour MP for Bristol North West since 2017. Darren also chairs the Institute of AI, a global network of legislators looking at the regulation of artificial intelligence, and runs Labour Digital, a centre-left think tank focusing on technology issues. In his previous life Darren worked as a solicitor specialising in consumer rights, data and telecommunications law, including as an in-house counsel at BT. He is a practicing vegan.
