The implications for business of the NHS changes

Now that the Health and Social Care Bill has become law, the stage is set for perhaps the largest change in the operation of the NHS since its creation. For some companies this will represent new opportunities. Others may have concerns including the future standard and speed of care generally available, whether variations in services could reduce employee mobility, and the possible need for employers to consider supplementary health insurance for workers. Join Andy Burnham, a former health minister, to hear his view on the likely impact on business of the NHS changes and discuss the issues of concern to you.

12 March 2013 - Lunch Meeting - London

An integrated approach to health

The Health and Social Care Bill has become law and changes to the NHS are continuing under the new Health Minister, Jeremy Hunt. So far the jury is out on whether the results will be cost savings and service improvements or the reverse. Join Andy Burnham, a former health minister, to hear his views on how an integrated approach to the provision of health care would work and the implications this would have for patients, NHS staff and private service providers.
